Please ask one of your district’s most liberty-minded elected state representatives if he or she would be willing to receive completed petitions and use them to support (or help write) bills opposing Sharia Law in Idaho for the 2026 legislative session.

Print the petition. Then, simply write in the district number for your district, fill in the name and mailing address of the representative willing to share completed petitions, gather signatures from citizens (signers don’t have to be registered voters), then mail the petition to your representative.

Attached to this message is a SAMPLE petition I have written, which is intended to spark a drive to ban Sharia law in Idaho. [ED NOTE: See PDF link and sample image above.]

Sharia law is thoroughly anathema to the values and principles enshrined in our U.S. and Idaho Constitutions. Sharia Law should be banned in America and, more to my point, the State of Idaho, because any ideology or belief system that stands against our Constitution, our freedoms, or the God-given equality of men and women has no place anywhere in this country.

Here in District 7 (https://gemstatechronicle.com/ld7/), all 3 of our elected representatives, Senator Cindy Carlson, along with Representatives Kyle Harris and Charlie Shepherd, are on board with banning Sharia law in Idaho in the upcoming 2026 legislative session.

The State of Texas has recently taken the initiative by banning Sharia law in their state (https://gov.texas.gov/es/news/post/governor-abbott-signs-law-banning-sharia-compounds-in-texas).

Idaho needs to follow suit!
