Boise County Republicans held their annual Lincoln dinner in celebration of America and our POTUS Donald J. Trump on Saturday, April 5, 2025, in Idaho City at the Ray Robison Community Center.
Thank you to all who attended this most successful Lincoln dinner and fund raiser held in this non-election year. We rocked the house with fun, conversation and a capacity crowd. We feasted on a full Santa Maria Style Tri Tip BBQ expertly prepared by Boise County Republicans Event Chair, Steve Moore. Hard working and dedicated Republicans put on Lincoln dinner events in Counties throughout our nation yearly in celebration of our Constitutional Republic and Freedom.
We thank all who helped make this event possible. We appreciate those who participated in the lively Dessert Dash, Silent Auction and Live Auction. A special thanks to IDGOP Chair Dorothy Moon for auctioning a large Trump silver coin. A thank you to Idaho City’s Trudy Jackson for stepping up to auction several items including two cheesecakes and a beautiful handmade quilt.
We were honored to host Idaho’s Attorney General Raúl Labrador as keynote speaker. He gave an inspiring message on the new era in America with Donald J. Trump, POTUS. Idaho Republicans are grateful to Raúl Labrador as he takes the lead among States in support of President Donald J. Trump. (Photo of Attorney General Raúl Labrador is credited to Idaho’s Daniel Murphy.)
Our Dorothy Moon-IDGOP Chair, Darr Moon-PE, Miner, Logger, Land Surveyor and Steward of the Forrest and Custer County’s IDGOP Chair also spoke to us, giving hope for the future of Idaho and America.
District 8’s contingency of Republican conservatives also spoke to those present. Christy Zito – Senator; Rob Beiswenger – Seat A Representative, and Faye Thompson – Seat B Representative attended fresh out of the latest adjourned legislative session. They
all shared some recent experiences at our State Capitol. All have conservative voting records that District 8 can be proud of. We were also honored to also have Representative Josh Tanner of District 14 present. He spoke truths to those present and was recognized as the closer getting the Health Freedom bill finalized and to the desk of Governor Little for signature.
Representative Kent Marmon – District 11 Caldwell, was another friend of Boise County who attended. He campaigned as a Conservative Republican in 2024 and his voting record is proof that he is a man of his word. He shared with us from the recent most conservative legislative session in Idaho history where Health Freedom passed and School Choice.
Featured entertainment was Lemhi County’s GOP Precinct Committeeman Clinton Carter and his beautiful wife, Sarah Carter….aka the Carters. They performed through the evening and Sarah sang two verses of our National Anthem. No one sings quite like Idaho’s songbird, Sarah Carter. The Carters are beloved to many in Idaho. They brought with them their three children who give us renewed home for America’s future.
God Bless Idaho and our Nation. Let us continue to be vigilant as POTUS Donald J. Trump leads us through these Golden Years.
Thank you everyone.
