Boise County Republican Party Reorganization & Primary Results
Boise County’s Republican Party was reorganized per statute on May 28, 2026 in Idaho City.
Officers elected at the re-organization meeting were:
- Chair – Jean Mollenkopf Moore
- Vice Chair – Brian J. Davies
- Steve Moore – Treasurer
- Secretary – Keith Olson
- State Committeewoman – Thelma Medina
- State Committeeman – Steve Moore
- State Youth Chair – Tyler Diehl

- Jean Mollenkopf Moore re-elected IDGOP Region 6 Chair (representing Valley County, Gem County, Custer County, Boise County and Elmore County)
- Thelma Medina elected IDGOP District 8 Secretary

2026 Idaho GOP State Convention
The 2026 Idaho GOP State Convention is now in the books. Delegates from throughout the state came to Meridian June 18, 19 and 20, 2026 to discuss ideas, plan strategy, and elect officers to lead the Idaho Republican Party for the next two years. There were many debates but one thing everyone agreed on was that we must fight the radical abortion initiative with everything we’ve got.
Boise County’s Republican voting delegates at the IDGOP Convention were: Jean Mollenkopf Moore, Steve Moore, Thelma Medina, Sherry Crowell, Dianna Serpa, and alternate – Scott Thomas.

IDGOP state officers were elected by Convention delegates on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

November 2026 General Election Ahead…
We have Republican candidates to elect not only to Congress, the Legislature, and statewide offices, but also as county commissioners, sheriffs, prosecutors, coroners, and so many more. Idaho has remained a bastion of prosperity and freedom because of the great Republicans who have stepped up to lead in every corner of our state. Idaho Republicans will continue standing up to defend our history, our heritage, and the liberties that made America great.
Recently, we celebrated four years since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and allowed Idaho’s laws protecting unborn babies to go into effect. Now, the progressive left wants to undo that accomplishment and bring back abortion—even up to nine months of pregnancy—to Idaho. The Idaho GOP will not allow that to happen. Alongside other great organizations that believe in the inherent value of unborn life, we will fight to ensure every Idaho voter knows the truth about this radical initiative, and we will defeat it in November should it make the ballot.
We stand united not only to keep Idaho red, but to keep Idaho a place where all life is valued.
